Unconventional Methods of Transportation

Porkandham The second release from Sun Junkies evolves their sound, each member shining greatly here. Guitarist/vocalist Ethan taking the lead on Bored Enough and adding hypnotizing melodies throughout the rest, drummer Nick particularly shining on Human Interaction I and propelling the rest with powerful drum lines, bassist Issa driving songs like I Broke Nick's Bong with percussive basslines, and vocalist/guitarist Noah standing out particularly on Things That Shine, a 7 minute closer of regret and rage. Favorite track: If You Don't Know (By Now).

Well we could do it all night If you are interested We could talk about the things we like and the reasons we like them If you don't know (by now) It just don't matter You should put it on ice Cuz that burn looks awful red You should think about the things you say before you go say them But if you don't know (by now) well if you notice I thought you'd know this You didn't know this by now? If we tried to Know when we're lied to They couldn't lie to us all But if you'd notice I thought you'd know this If you don't know this by now

Theres someone lurking in the corner Just over there, just over there There's something 'bout him that don't seem right It's in his eyes, its in his eyes I think it's best that we stay cautious Just play it safe, just play it safe No friend of mine, no friend of yours No not a friend at all Not at all So don't test me Whats that floating out in the water? I hope it's not your son Out in the water, what is that floating? I hope it's not your son It's not your son So don't test me

When you say what you say It all feels okay And when you do what you do There's not much to say But all these times in our lives They all go away But these times that we're in I hope they last longer than the rest I hope they last longer than the rest Cuz out of all the ones I've had these are the best

No one should meet their heroes That's why I stay inside I've been avoiding bright lights Those things just waste my time In love with California Cuz I like things that shine I dream of velvet carpets And not a thing could change my mind I hate congratulations I never take them well I've wrote a thousand stories But never learned to spell Everyone's paparazzi That only film themselves And when I look around me That's when I realized this is hell
